CEO of CHNR meets with John Snow, the former Secretary of the U.S. Treasury

At the invitation of Mr. John William Snow, the former Secretary of the U.S. Treasury, Mr. Feilie Li, the CEO of CHNR and chairman of Feishang group, attended the dinner party held by Mr. Snow on the March 17, 2007 in ShangHai. They had an amicable discussion on China economy development and oversea funds’ investment in China.

Mr. Snow was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of CSX Corporation. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics. Mr. Snow served as Secretary of the U.S. Treasury from February 2003 to May 2006. He is currently Chairman of Cerberus Capital Management, L.P.

Established in 1992, Cerberus Capital Management LP is one of the leading private investment companies. Total capital and accounts managed by Cerberus reached USD 22 billion. Headquarter of Cerberus located in New York, and offices are set up in Landon, Frankfurt etc. Currently, Cerberus’s business is mainly focus on Japan and they have completed the majority shares acquisition of Aozora Bank Ltd in 2003. 

Mr. Snow takes a very positive view on China economy development. He led a delegation group visited China in the 3rd months after he took the chairman position of Cerberus Capital Management, L.P.

Mr. Feilie Li made an introduction to Mr. Sonw in their meeting about business structure of Feishang group. Mr. Snow expressed strong interest in Feishang group’s strategy on natural resources, unique copper refinery technology as well as the integrated chain of copper industry.
